UPDATED: Ever thought about how to get your website name on GoDaddy? What is a “domain name?” A website name is the link and is used to showcase your business or a personal blog. Your website name is also known as a “domain name”. Examples of domain names are “thatsgravydesigns.com” and “justtasteitsandiego.com“. It’s important, regardless of your business, to refer other’s to on the Internet.

Where to buy your domain name?

It’s required that your domain name be registered. I’ve used a few places to get domain names and to keep it simple for you, GoDaddy is a very easy and low cost. GoDaddy allows you to get domain.com, domain.me, domain.net, domain.life, and many others. You need to register and create a log in with GoDaddy. Then search to see if your desired website name is available. Click here to open up GoDaddy. You can get as many domain names as you desire.

How much does it cost?

Registering and buying your domain name are actually two different things. We can only register a domain name, and that it will need to be renewed yearly. If you miss the date to renew, that allows for someone else to pick it up and get it.

Coming up this September is the 1/2 Disneyland Marathon! I’ve decided to make this run a few months ago through the charity cause, Autism Speaks. So far this summer, my training has taken me to more than 120 miles running!

I chose this charity because of my interest in autism and in helping children. After touring a facility at the San Diego Rady’s Children Hospital, Alexa’s Playc, my heart melted when I learned that about 1 in every 60 children are diagnosed with autism every year! Also, that there is a spectrum to which individuals can fall into regarding autism. I toured Alexa’s Playc and there is a waiting list for families, and the parents having to find support on their own. It indicates how much there is a need for programs to help our neighbors. Our communities need our help. Let’s bring as much awareness as we can!

My beautiful wife, Sofia, and I just recently celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. I am so grateful to God for her and it has been such an incredible ride! We’ve learned and experienced so much through traveling, our profession, and from our amazing friends. Our “stay-cation” in San Diego was awesome! We enjoyed the really nice weather, friendly communities, and great food. But most of all, each other. Del Mar and Torrey Pines is beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better time at the beach!
