Getting your domain name with a secured SSL certificate.<\/p><\/div>\n

ISSUE: WordPress Website Running Slow after Getting a Domain Name SSL Certificate<\/h3>\n

After setting up my domain name with a SSL certificate with my web host, JustHost, the site took a significant hit in loading performance. I thought that the SSL certificate to my domain name broke my website! It was taking 2-3 MINUTES<\/strong> (which felt like FOREVER) to load. Prior to doing this, the site was loading fairly quickly. Google says they are now requiring “https” and secured domain names. So what happened?<\/p>\n

SOLUTION: Not the Web Hosts’ Fault, It was the WordPress Theme.<\/h3>\n

Naturally the web host suggested clearing the browser cache. Having worked and designed custom WordPress themes, I removed the plugins to isolate the issue. I soon discovered that code in the WordPress theme was preventing the site from loading normally.<\/p>\n

It is called a “random number generator” and something like this: src=”https:\/\/rng-snp-003.com\/js\/37068.js” and anything related to this I removed. This did it and I was able to revive my website, thank goodness!<\/p>\n
